OPEN CALLS FOR LECTURER ON ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSE As part of the implementation of the projects “Increasing the Performance and Employment of Roma Students in Secondary Schools in Albania - Academic Year 2025-2026 (SEC-ALB-03)” and “Increasing Access and Participation of Roma Students in Tertiary Education and Transition to the Labor Market through Employment - Academic Year 2025-2026 (TER-ALB-03)”, financed by the European Commission through DG-NEAR and implemented by the REF Romania, REF Serbia and Roma Versitas Albania, OPEN CALLS FOR LECTURER ON ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSE that will provide online lecturing on English Language Course sessions to support secondary and tertiary students beneficiaries of these projects, during the academic year 2025-2026. Duration: February 2026 – July 2026 Deadline for sending applications: 23 January 2026 Background The project “EU Regional Action on Roma Education: Increasing Educational Support and Opportunities for Roma Students in the Western Balkans and Turkey (RARE), Phase II” builds on the achievements of its first phase, implemented by the Roma Education Fund (REF) from 2018 to 2021. During the first phase, educational services delivered across seven project countries (Albania - ALB, Bosnia and Herzegovina - BIH, Kosovo - KOS, Montenegro - MNE, North Macedonia - MAC, Serbia - SER, and Turkey - TUR) successfully engaged over 4,500 Roma children and youth at all educational levels in various educational activities. The current phase of the project seeks to sustain and expand upon the benefits and outcomes of the initial phase, while establishing a solid foundation for the continued inclusion and participation of Roma children and young people in education. Objective The objectives of the English Language Course include developing the knowledge and skills that enable high school and undergraduate students to use English effectively and confidently, such as: Build a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure. Improve reading comprehension through exposure to various texts (articles, stories, reports). Develop writing skills for different purposes (essays, emails, reports, applications). Practice speaking through dialogues, presentations, and group discussions. Expand vocabulary relevant to academic, everyday, and professional contexts. Use English in digital environments (email, messaging, online platforms). Use dictionaries, grammar checkers, language learning platforms to support independent learning. Develop the ability to express ideas clearly, argue a point, and engage in critical thinking in English. Depending on the target group, the objectives can be adapted to match their specific needs. These skills are essential for academic success, international opportunities, and professional growth. Conditions for Applications Applicants must be graduates or certified by relevant institutions. At least 3 years of experience in teaching and/or involvement in teaching lectures related to digital skills. Being from the Roma or Egyptian community is considered an added value. Background

The project “EU Regional Action on Roma Education: Increasing Educational Support and Opportunities for Roma Students in the Western Balkans and Turkey (RARE), Phase II” builds on the achievements of its first phase, implemented by the Roma Education Fund (REF) from 2018 to 2021.
