🎓 Education Initiatives

  1. RomaVersitas Program

    Aims to enhance retention, academic performance, and graduation rates among Roma university students in Albania. It offers academic guidance, mentorship, workshops, and courses on Roma history and language. Between 2014 and 2016, 146 students were supported, with significant improvements in GPA and skill development.

  2. Secondary Education Project

    Implemented from September 2018 to May 2021, this project focuses on increasing academic performance and employability of Roma secondary school students. It emphasizes awareness among Roma families about the importance of education, retention, and bridging secondary education with tertiary education and the labor market.

    The second phase of the project is ongoing started from 2023.

  3. Tertiary Education Project

    Also running from September 2018 to May 2021, this initiative aims to increase access and participation of Roma students in tertiary education and facilitate their transition to the labor market. It focuses on improving academic performance, graduation rates, and job readiness.


🛠️  Vocational Training & Employment

  1. WinForVET

    This project contributes to the social inclusion and poverty reduction of Roma people in Albania and Kosovo through vocational education and training. It supports young Roma aged 14-28 in extending their education, completing secondary school, or improving qualifications. Activities include mentorship, professional development, internships, and soft-skills training.


⚖️ Legal Empowerment

  1. Access to Justice for Roma

    Focuses on enhancing legal awareness and access to justice for Roma communities. It likely includes legal education, support services, and advocacy for rights protection.

  2. Advanced Legal Education

    Aims to provide advanced legal training to Roma individuals, potentially preparing them for careers in law or enhancing their understanding of legal systems.

    Encourages Roma children and youth to return to formal education, possibly through community outreach, support services, and awareness campaigns.

  2. Barvalipe School Albania

    Likely an educational initiative focusing on Roma culture, identity, and leadership, aiming to empower Roma youth through specialized curricula.

  3. Compass

    Possibly a guidance program assisting Roma students in navigating educational and career pathways, offering counseling and resources.

  4. From Zero to Hero

    Suggests a transformative program designed to uplift Roma individuals from challenging circumstances to achieving personal and professional success.
